We rent the perfect long distance touring bikes. These solid bicycles are a great way to explore Holland, and the rest of the continent!

When you decide to rent our bikes you can bring your own SPD, Look or Speed play pedals and your own seat; we can mount those on the bike to optimize your ride.

If you have excessive luggage, it can be stored without any costs at our location.

  • Your own pedals and seat (if you whish)

 

RENTAL PRICE TOURING BIKES

The price of our hybrid bikes are €25,00 a day and have a minimum renting period of five days. For this price you get the bike, two panniers (40 litres total, if needed), two bike locks, tire repair kit and a high pressure air pump.

When you want to rent the bikes longer than five days you pay an additional € 25,00 per day. However, the more days you rent the less you pay: If you rent the bikes longer than five days you will get a discount of 6%, seven days 7%, eight days 8%, etc. With a maximum of 30% discount.

Renting the bicycles shorter than five days is possible, but you always pay the minimum amount of € 125,00.

INSURANCE TOURING BIKES

Theft insurance on the bicycles is optional. The costs are € 5,00 per 24 hours with an own risk of € 100,00. You are only insured when you can hand in your bike-keys and a police-report. The replacement value of a bicycle is € 700.00. The insurance is only for theft of the bicycle, not for damages.

BOOKING YOUR TOURING BIKES

Would you like to rent a touring bicycle?
Please send us an e-mail at info@macbike.nl and provide us the following information:

  • name and address
  • rental period (and pick up + return date and time)
  • number of bicycles and model (male or female)
  • your height in metric sizes (so we can reserve the right frame size for you)
  • please let us know if you want to bring your own SPD, Look or Speed play pedals and your own seat

Direction from the Amsterdam Centraal Station:
Take bus 32 (direction to Buikslotermeerplein) and get off at the Prins Hendrikkade.

Opening hours:
Tuesday till Friday from 9.00u – 14.00 hrs.
Saturday 9.00 – 17.00 hrs.
On Sunday and Monday, the MacBike Touring Bike Rental is closed.
