PRACTICAL INFORMATION FOR GROUP BOOKINGS
Our bicycles
During the bike ride you will be using a strong, smoothly riding MacBike rental bike: a city bike, with footbrake or with hand brake and 3 gears. If you are cycling with a group that is used to cycling in the city, you can choose the footbrake. If you choose to cycle outside the city and/or you cycle with people who cycle less frequently, we recommend the hand brake bicycle with gears or the e-bike.
All our bikes have 2 locks and are adjustable to size.
Our guides
We cooperate with various partners who work with experienced guides. They are used to cycling with groups. The guides speak several languages and know Amsterdam and its surroundings. They know the history of the city and interesting facts. They can tell various interesting facts along the way, about history, architecture or the surrounding area.
Per guide, a maximum of 10 people can cycle along. A larger group is split up, and each group has its own guide.
Our prices
The costs differ per group booking and depend on the duration of the bike rental and the type of bike you select. Of course, it also depends on whether you are cycling with or without a guide and on the size of your group.
When renting a bicycle, you can always assume the following:
- Bicycle with hand brake & 3 gears
3 hours: €11,- (insurance optional: €1,75)
1 day: €14.75 (insurance optional: €3.50) - Bicycle with footbrake
3 hours: €7.50 (insurance optional: €1.75)
1 day: €9.75 (insurance optional: €3.50) - Specials such as cargo bike, e-bike & tandem

Reservations are required for all locations for group activities of 8 people or more, to prevent us from running out of bicycles at one location.
GUIDED BIKE TOURS
Have you ever thought about a guided bike tour in or around Amsterdam as a group outing? A nice bike ride with your friends or family is already an experience in itself, but with a guide you will get to know the city or surroundings even better. Our guides will take you along and tell you historical facts and other interesting facts along the way. You cycle at a relaxed pace. In addition, there is always room to stop, for example for a visit or a photo opportunity. You can opt for an existing guided bike tour, but you can also arrange a customised bike tour. We will then determine a route together and put you in contact with the right guides.
You decide which way the group outing goes
You can choose which part of the city you would like to see beforehand: Would you like to see some highlights in the centre of Amsterdam or would you rather go to a less well-known part of Amsterdam? You can also choose a route through Amsterdam Zuid, along with striking buildings of the Amsterdam School architecture or our Anne Frank route.
Or you can cycle through spacious and rural Amsterdam Noord. Here you can clearly see the development of district Noord and you can easily cycle on to the beautiful rural surroundings with villages such as Ransdorp and Zunderdorp.
Have you ever thought about Amsterdam Zuidoost? You can make a beautiful bike ride along the small rivers Gein and Bullewijk. Or make a lovely bike ride to the Amsterdamse Bos. Bring a picnic basket and enjoy. In short: whichever way you want to go, there is always a nice trip to make.
